MaxIQ Space is calling for schools to participate in the 2024 K-12 Space STEM program.

What does this entail?
MaxIQ Space will customised their international K-12 Space STEM program specifically for country, US state, or private sector sponsor. Delivery includes in-person and virtual teacher and facilitator training, curriculum and challenges relating STEM, space and sustainability, modular electronics kits, workshops and support sessions. All the experiments and exercises built up to a NASA high altitude balloon launch and future missions to the International Space Station.

Modular electronics kits:
Schools and groups get to keep with kits as they can be fully re-used. These kits are IoT enabled, connect to a data dashboard, and support topics such as data science, coding, big data, and internet of things.
Each group will receive:

These kits easily support classes of thirty students, and can be re-used across STEM subjects.

Support content:
As Educators are pressed for time, MaxIQ Space provides support from trained facilitators and easy to use teacher support materials.

  • Topics covered include those listed on this page
  • Challenges relating to the topics are outlined on this page

(Examples can be found on this page, all content will be securely provided using Canvas LMS).

How do we deliver?
In every case we engage with a non-profit organization in the region with a track record of implementing STEM programs. We take responsibility for training the local team to delivery the program in the event that the MaxIQ Space team cannot deliver in person.

What's included?
The cost of participation includes all kits outlined above as well as the course material, in-person and virtual workshops and support.
It does not include the costs incurred by the local non-profit team outside the scope of delivery assigned to them.

Our Partners

Changing the world isn't easy, and we couldn't do it alone.

A core value of MaxIQ is to be able to provide our educational resources to students around the globe, especially those who live in areas where there is a lack of educational infrastructure to support these young minds in achieving their full potential. MaxIQ wouldn't be able to fulfill our mission without support from...
