MaxIQ Space has developed a kit specifically for ride-share missions, specifically HAB (high altitude balloon), ISS, and suborbital missions.

Ride-Share Kit :

  • Extended core (CWV) with ESP32, SD card interface,  camera connector and prototype extension board connector
  • Accelerometer (IIA)
  • Barometer (IWB)
  • Air temperature and relative humidity sensor
  • Natural light and UV sensor
  • CO2 and Volatile Organic Compound gas sensor
  • Extension and prototype boards to develop your own sensors (should you wish to)
  • Pack of 10 pin connectors
  • USB-A power and programming interface

Launches are not included in the purchase of this kit, participation needs to be booked separately. (Launch options)

This kit is suitable for those already familiar with the MaxIQ Space ecosystem, as the ride-share mission course materials and workshops are geared towards advanced projects. Should you wish to become familiar with the ecosystem, we recommend the STEM project and experimentation kits as a starting point.

As this is an advanced project, the participating teams will be expected to develop their own Arduino code for their payload (examples and libraries are available).
