Since 2016, teachers and students alike have found the MaxIQ Space STEM programs exciting, educational and fun. Using the modular electronics kits, conducting experiments and research, these kits can be extended to handle high altitude balloon flights and rocket launches.

The MaxIQ Space team's track record:
MaxIQ Space is a for-profit corporation registered and operating in Wise, Virginia. Founded in 2020, the four founders combined their track-records in community development and outreach, Space STEM education, Space Industry Governance, technology design and manufacturing. Its purpose to serve the broader space industry in delivering educational and skills development programs to inspire youngsters to follow their space career dreams while assisting the private space sector build effective talent pipelines.

The MaxIQ founders pride themselves in being the most practical, effective and economical implementers of Space STEM programs, linked to sustainability and the skills necessary to navigate the 4th industrial revolution.

Educational Institutions - The MaxIQ kits and technology has been implemented in school and university programmes since 2016:

  • CubeSat Developers Workshops CalPoly – practical workshops for educators since 2018
  • Old Dominion University SmallSat Systems Engineering postgraduate course since 2018
  • Princeton Mechanical Engineering undergraduate satellite development course since 2018
  • Georgia Tech postgraduate course (GTRI) since 2019
  • NASA Ames and Stanford University undergraduate systems engineering since 2020
  • University Southern Maine aerospace engineering undergraduate CubeSat challenge since 2020

  • 2016 – World Economic Forum for Africa, programme having the most impact on youth education and gender equality in Africa
